Christians are the Watchmen of God.

Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. ––Ezekiel 3:17

The global Christians are God’s appointed watchmen. They are the watchmen of the Kingdom above and the basic troops of the Mighty, Jesus the general, from above. They are the watchmen and called to the Kingdom business to redeem and impact the world with the wealth of God. The spiritual revival depends entirely on this factor. Remember this, you are the watchman of the 21st century. God wants you to be alert, daring, holy, and faithful because the Enemy, Satan, will not stop fighting until he destroys the churches. He will come with fanciful beliefs and theologies that substitute the authentic portion of the Gospel.

Apostle Paul: But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! –– Galatians 1:8

The gospel of "happiness" has degraded the value of the authentic Gospel today. You would have seen or read books about How to be happy or key to happiness and the BBC news reported that Denmark as the happiest country and more than 360,000 of people are having birthday celebrations every day, however, there is no guarantee that they are truly happy. Christ under no situations promised His Disciples happiness on earth.

Instead, Jesus assured His Disciples: These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. –– John 16:33

What does a watchman do? A watchman protects and guards; when it is necessary, he fights. He makes himself awake to make sure the camp is safe. Will you be God’s faithful watchman from now on?

Watchmen Wanted!

Watchmen are wanted because the coming of Christ is near, yet the churches are nearly dead. False teachings and doctrines are increasing.   A book written by Joana Schultz and Thom Schultz, entitled: Why Nobody Wants to Go to Church Anymore gives some concrete information and statistics about why Christians have stopped going to church. Joana and Thom Schultz: Every year, more than 4,000 churches close their doors forever. Church attendance is shrinking. While 40% of American say they attend church every week, the actual number is more like 20%.   Within five years, the percentage of congregations characterized by “high spiritual vitality” dropped from about 43% in 2005 to 28% in 2010.
